Gameloft's photocopier development cycle continues, and their sights were set squarely on Burnout for the latest installment of the Asphalt series. Number eight has whiz-bang graphics, Hot Wheels physics, some fantastic online play, and the usual trappings of in-app purchases all over the single-player mode. But to the game's credit, it's entirely optional - you can get every car and event in the game without spending more than the $1 purchase price, and there's no annoying waiting system. (Yes, EA, I'm looking at you.)
