Angry Birds Star Wars II

Fans of the ever popular Angry Birds franchise certainly received an exciting surprise when Rovio Entertainment released their highly anticipated sequel Angry Birds Star Wars II a day early. Remember one of the key aspects of the game was that there would be a simultaneous availability of telepods and toys in Stores on launch day and Rovio certainly appears to have kept its word on that aspect too.

There is simply no doubt that Angry Birds Star Wars II is bigger and better than its prequel. The game has plenty of firsts to its credit that should send all its fans into sheer ecstasy.  There are over 30 characters to play with, not to mention the chance to play on the side of the dirty green pigs or the Pork side.
Similar to Skylander games (Cloud Patrol), players can buy figurines or telepods from retail Stores, attach them to the accompanying pedestal, place it on the device for the camera to pick up and input the web codes activating the characters within the game. Another notable and interesting feature is that you can choose which bird you want to shoot. If you think that the red bird will get the job done better than the yellow one, you can make a bird switch too! That’s rich!
